Meditation Tools
| MALA
This mala (string of prayer beads) is strung with 108 rudraksha seeds, called the Tears of Shiva and considered a form of his presence on Earth. I use them for meditation with the Om Namaha Shivaya chant. They usually activate my finger chakras as I meditate; I generally return that energy to the Earth, or use it to recharge my altar stones.

SINGING BOWL
Cast from seven metals, singing bowls give off a variety of different tones when gonged or rubbed with a playing stick. The tones quickly fill a room, and seem to come from all around, rather than from the bowl itself; nothing sounds quite like them. I open and close meditations with mine, and a few minutes of playing it can put me into a meditative state without other methods. On rare occasions, my chanting has set up a vibration in the bowl, so that it sings along with me.

| TINGSHAS
Small finger-cymbals made from the same seven-metal alloy as the singing bowl, their chime clears and protects sacred and healing spaces. They can also be used to similarly clear sacred and healing objects.
